After just under two years, I was promoted within the company to a mid-weight project management position. This has given me extra responsibly as I am now managing larger and more complex projects, using my past experience to ensure successful delivery with greater involvement at each stage of the project. When I first joined Clock, I started out as a Junior Project Manager, managing numerous web based projects. The role involved working closely with both the client and the various internal teams to make sure we delivered websites which met the client's requirements, while also offering our expertise and guidance. This role required good organisations skills in order to successfully keep projects on track, making sure communication was kept up between departments, requirements were captured and projects were delivered on time and on budget. While doing this, I built up my core project management skills, learning more about working in an agile environment and in particular focusing on Scrum and undergoing training to become a certified scrum master.

Working as a Web Project Manager for Yell, I oversaw the creation of websites from start to finish. This involved numerous conversations with customers to find out what content and functionality they needed on the website, and how they wanted the site to look.As well as being responsible for the website as a whole, I also undertook keyword research, copywriting and a competitor analysis.

This was my first role working at Yell Adworks before being promoted to the Web Project Manager position. This role involved working on the standard Yellsites product, talking with clients about their requirements for their website and writing the copy to fit in with their image and business type.This helped to prepare me for the Project Manager role by improving my copywriting skills and talking with clients on a daily basis about what they wanted from their website.
