Actively promoting an agile mindset in a team of 23, I engineered web interfaces for the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, I quickly grasped Angular 6 and Node and wrote an API to perform form validations for both the front and back-end. Developers no longer had to write their form validations more than once, reducing dev waste.My leadership allowed developers to write faster and better code, accelerating productivity and saving time.

Over the last 5 years of my tenure, I was entrusted with training thriving offshore development teams.►Engineered an elegant solution for Australian bank, Westpac, to monitor all messages between multiple systems, sparking a celebrated implementation.► Transformed spaghetti code into clean, readable unit-tested brilliance, remarkable in its use of ordered object-oriented architecture. More than being easy to understand, the API became more straightforward and extendable for future development.►Proactively connected the testers and business analysts in an agile mode, ensuring full participation in the software lifecycle, producing a quality of software praised by its users.► Redesigned a job allocation system allowing banks to distribute work amongst Valuation Firms in a way which rewarded the quality and speed of workers. Resulting in a fast, stable and easy to use system.Results were a smooth, consistent system design between a large team of developers allowing optimal performance.

Digital Lamb is a website design company based in the Adelaide CBD. With Digital Lamb, I created websites and I developed six engaging and informative educational web games, including a ‘Create Your Own Comic Book’ game for one of our clients, The Neil Sachse Centre of Excellence for Spinal Cord Injury Research and Treatment (http://www.nsf.org.au/backtobasics/kids).

Rebel Planet Creations, LLC (RPC) was formed in early 2005 to produce fantasy novels and role-playing computer games. The Axys Adventures: Truth Seeker was developed and released in 2006. It was named Winner of the Christian Game of the Year award at the 2007 Christian Game Developers Conference. Additionally, I developed the prototype for ‘The Rebel Planet: Orion,’ which obtained mass accolades across the internet.
