David founded and runs a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation for Parkinson’s research. This organization is dedicated to raising money for cutting-edge Parkinson’s research that promises to put an end to the disease. One in particular was to produce an electronic protocol for inventory management of computer spare parts. For one project in particular, I automated and populated a database matching 15,000 parent, child, and orphaned technical assets. This involved heave data analysis and a good amount of interaction with the project's stakeholders. I was also in charge of creating and managing a database to control Abbott's global computer hardware assets. To go along with with that I developed a spreadsheet to calculate the cost of shipping goods globally so Abbott could effectively plan shipments and their associated costs. I was also asked to help with the financial plan for a presentation to senior management. This involved intense deadlines and an understanding of how things ran within the company.
