Domain is one of Australia's leading property portals, offering extensive listings of residential, commercial, and rural properties for sale and rent.I joined as CTO right before COVID hit, tasked with building a close relationship between product and technology teams that had drifted apart. I started with the opportunity to build a new leadership team to ensure Domain could execute its marketplace strategy, as we levelled up previous "hobby" parts of the business into full P+Ls, including wrangling data assets into commercial propositions. I developed teams, leadership, and tech strategy, simultaneously reducing costs while COVID impacted revenue and a frothy employment market pushed market salaries higher.

Responsible for leading and managing a large team of software engineers, business analysts and quality engineers in delivering Westfield's global web platform, covering e-commerce capabilities (with almost two million products available for sale through our site), and representing our 100+ malls around the world. This team covers a range of activities from varied global stakeholder management, to planning and prioritisation, to solution scoping and building. As e-commerce and digital impacts retail worldwide, our challenge is to help define and build a world class response, and empowering a team with the vision and capabilities to deliver on this is my goal.
