My current role at Konexo focusses on the further development of our fantastic interim lawyer business and the further growth of all Konexo's business in Asia.My role at Konexo is also to ensure that we develop the best people and practice what we preach by deploying optimal technology solutions and highly effective processes for our clients. Alongside this, I help general counsel, heads of legal operations and other stakeholders find the best legal solutions for their businesses.After starting my career as a corporate/banking lawyer at another Slaughter and May, I moved to Allens in Melbourne, Australia, where I became a partner, before joining Eversheds Sutherland on my return to the UK. I led the firm’s banking and finance team for a number of years as well as holding client partner roles for several key clients. Over the last nine years, I have been one of three partners leading Konexo, developed by Eversheds Sutherland to provide alternative legal services. Combining the heritage, strength and stability of a global law firm with a mission “to do law differently”, Konexo uses the latest intelligent analytics, technology and innovative processes to provide a range of new law offerings including managed services, interim resourcing and consulting services.Konexo is located in the UK, US, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia and, for the last three years, has achieved a band one global ranking in the Chambers ALSP Guide.My fantastic wife, Julie, and I have known each other since school! We have three great sons, Joseph, Matthew and Edward, and are now proud dog owners, a lovely labradoodle called Skye. Outside of work I enjoy the gym and running (while listening to history podcasts), play football from time to time and for many years coached children's cricket at a local club, North Middlesex CC. My latest project has been developing some waste land to grow food for Finchley Food Bank which much to my astonishment has been highly successful. Oh and I have the almost constant misery of being a supporter of Derby County FC.
