CurrentEvery day for me is Saturday. I retired in May of 2016 from my work as a structured settlement consultant. I am now focusing my energy on helping The Family Partnership.In 2004, the Brackett descendants of George A. Brackett were invited to the 125th anniversary of The Family Partnership. Much to my surprise, George was their founder and none of my immediate family and cousins knew of this extraordinary relationship. United Way, Big Brothers and The Family Partnership, along with several other organizations, spun off from Associated Charities. It was the first social services agency in Minneapolis not affiliated with a church.Today, The Family Partnership serve thousands of clients each year. In 2015, our organization served more than 35,000 individuals out of our five services centers--in schools, community centers, churches and homes.
