General running of UK Natural Stone LTD supervising the manufacturing process, as well as various office duties. I have never worked for a company that is as passionate about stone as I am. I find this fantastic and most rewarding. At this point a big thank you to Tom Wright my director, for giving me this oppourtunity and do not intend on letting him down or the company. We are a unique and diverse stone company with lots of young fresh ideas and thrive on a challenge. I do believe that in a few years UK Natural Stone will be the leading manufacturor in the industry providing products to many diverse markets.

A large company mainly dealing with large floor contracts, also carrying out other aspects in the masonry industry. This was a great job I felt that I really excelled here. I would say working at this company gave me the confidence to start my own business. As I was running all the day to day activities of the company. It was a great oppourtunity and really boosted my knowledge of running a company and organisation skills.

Now this place I really enjoyed working at great bunch of guys, good money. More to the point no machinery what so ever so my skill level really started to improve. I also got a small promotion to quality control so I still carried out my normal duties but everything in the factory got run through me. Unfourtunatly this company went through hard times and struggled to keep me on as my wage had now reached quite a high level, I did not begruddge them and had decided that I wanted to move on anyway.

This is the company where I really started to progress as a stone mason. After a while their they signed a very large contract so started to buy machinery. Which was ok but I was not interested in learning the machinery side of the industry at that time, I still wanted to progress my practical skills and also a wage issue was involved so I decided to move on.
