I’m a builder. I love growing businesses and organizations. Its my passion and its what Im good at. I'm a seasoned global sales and marketing executive but my real driver is to make an impact. Growth with impact is what I love. I’ve had a diverse career: early in my career I launched new consumer products in the UK and built global consumer brands in Australia working for leading Fortune 1000 marketing and advertising companies. Its were I cut my teeth. Since moving to Silicon Valley I've spent the last 20 years helping Aussie tech companies go global, either as a founder, operator, growth advisor or simply a supporter. I've advised hundreds of offshore entrepreneurs on US market entry, how to open markets and develop partnerships across the globe. I love the process of growing businesses and I thrive on building smart, dynamic and hungry teams who are all driven to reach a shared goal where there is no room for hero’s, politics or negativity.I bring a diverse set of business skills: strategy, marketing (traditional and digital), sales, team building, consulting, business development but what people value most are my three core skills: creativity, enthusiasm and persistence. They have stood me well over the years.I’ve operated in many roles: CEO, EVP Sales and Marketing, VP Sales, CMO, VP Business Development, Account Director, Product Manager. Titles don’t mean much to me; it’s about getting the job done. I like the title ‘Chief Doer’; it should have been on all my business cards.When I’m not working I’m spending time with my amazing Swedish wife and incredible kids, swimming open water (the colder the better). I've done a few 10+ mile marathon swims and would do more if I had the time to train. My longest swims are still ahead of me. My mantra is "stay in the game" in both my personal and professional life.
