I have over 20 years of experience as a recording and mix engineer and executive producer in advertising music production. Most of my experience is Pro Tools based. I also have experience with SSL, Neve and other analog consoles, which also includes mic and instrument set up and experience with a wide range of outboard equipment.I have had a hand in some very successful advertising campaigns such as Mercedes, Dairy Queen, Subway, Expedia, Claritin, Goodyear and Visa, to name a few. Along with Face The Music, I produced, edited and mixed music and sound design for a Chevrolet Motorsports commercial that won an AICP award for sound design. As a producer, I interact with advertising agency creatives and producers. I in turn brief and produce composers and sound designers through the projects. As an engineer, I am responsible for mixing and mastering all music and sound design produced for the project as well as any edits and mix changes needed as the project develops. I have also been involved in a few full length record projects which included programming, instrument and vocal recording as well as production and mixing. My career has allowed me the opportunity to experience many different music genres, sound fields and client types. This has given me the ability to work extremely well with musicians, singers, VO talent and most importantly, peers and clients. I have worked with and recorded some of the biggest artists, Bebe Winans, Phoebe Snow, Tito Puente, Martha Wash, Taylor Dayne, Bebe Neuwirth, James "DTrain" Williams, Ashford and Simpson, Michael McDonald and Curtis Stiger just to name a few. All of their careers travelled through advertising.I have also started Noise Controller, my own production company, where I have co-produced, with my partner, advertising and promotion productions for building contractors, home designers, boxing promoters and Law Rocks. My contribution is field and studio recording, sound design, music composition, editing and mixing.
