David earned his degree in Recording Arts from Full Sail University in Florida in April 1992. He started his career as a pro audio sales consultant at Sam Ash Music and a stagehand in Camden, NJ. After seven years, David joined the National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C., working for 17 years in the audiovisual, media production, and information technology departments. During his time there, he produced and engineered live events in National Geographic's Grosvenor Auditorium.In the fall of 2017, David was appointed Director of Development for a non-profit radio station named WCFA 101.5 FM, in Cape May, New Jersey. During the same period, he joined a concert promotion and production company called I.M.P. David oversaw digital signage and managed venue technologies for The Anthem performance venue in Washington, DC, engaging on over 600 concerts and events. In 2022, David's role expanded as he became the Executive Assistant to the General Manager.In March 2024, David elevated his position at the radio station to Chief Operating Officer and became a Producer for the Cape May Point Science Center.David has a keen interest in recording and broadcasting studios, concert halls, entertainment venues, museums, theaters, and supper clubs. He gravitates toward people who share his passion for these spaces, the technology integrated within them, and the people who inhabit them. David’s enthusiasm for this subject led him to an avocational association with the WSDG (Walters-Storyk Design Group) in 2009, where he continues to gain an in-depth understanding of the design and construction industry, specializing in architectural acoustics and media systems engineering. As a representative of WSDG in the Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia metropolitan areas, David can share his knowledge and passion with others.David hails from the suburbs of Philadelphia, near Little Timber Creek in New Jersey. He lives in Cape May, NJ and Washington, D.C. with his wife, son, and dog Riley. He is passionate about community outreach, advocating for the South Jersey music scene, and walks with Riley around Delaware Bay.
