Accountable for project and program delivery of financial applications including Overpayment Recovery Management System, Payment Analytics and Optum ERP (PeopleSoft AR, BI, Contract Management and Project Costing). Lead global team of 60 analysts, developers, testers, directors, and managers.- Managed a $10M technology budget and oversaw the delivery of IT services, including software engineering, business analysis, quality assurance, and release management.- Directly manage 20-person agile software engineering team responsible for developing Overpayment Recovery Management System. System includes core Java services that manage the lifecycle of an overpayment, 15 web-based UIs, and over 30 integration points with 9 partner systems. Technologies included Java, MySQL, IBM Integration Bus, UI/UX, HTML5, Angular Javascript and Rally. - Directly manage 5-person team responsible for implementing Payment Analytics solution that ingests data from payment system and exposes data to analytical tools and portal systems. Technologies included Hadoop (Hive, Hive scripts, MapR) and Elastic Search. - Oversight of 35-person ERP team responsible for implementing Accounts Receivable, Billing, Contract Management and Project Costing capabilities for Optum. 2015 projects include enablement of multicurrency capabilities and onboarding of six new business units. Technologies employed by team include PeopleSoft 9.1 (AR, Billing, Contracts, Project Costing) and IBM Data Stage (ETL).
