I serve as the Logistics Readiness Officer and Deputy Chief of Logistics for Madigan Army Medical Center. I am responsible for providing direct deployment and mobilization support to over 40,000 Soldiers from 10 separate brigades on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), and also support all National Guard and Reserve units in a seven State area. I coordinate deployment/mobilization support with the Office of the Surgeon General (OTSG), Medical Command (MEDCOM), United States Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA), First Corps, and the First Joint Mobilization Battalion (1JMB) for units deploying from the JBLM Power Projection Platform. I also serve as the Medical Logistics Planner for contingency operations, emergency management planning, mobilization, and disaster preparedness plans within the Madigan Healthcare System. I provide medical logistics support to Patient Centered Medical Homes (PCMH) and Soldier Centered Medical Homes (SCMH) and I serve as the program manager for the Command Supply Discipline and Temperature Sensitive Medical Products Programs.

I was responsible for all logistics, property, and medical maintenance operations for the United States Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM). I supervised, mentored, and developed nine personnel and provided management of $19 million worth of property. I managed all procurement and acquisition demands and served as the Government Purchase Card Program Manager and Billing Official for six personnel. I also managed all controlled substances, medical supply procurement, linen management, facility security, crime prevention, key control, and gas cylinder programs. I managed all Financial Liability Investigations of Property Losses, served as the Institute CSDP Coordinator, and was the primary Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support Program Manager. I was also a member of the Safety Committee.

I served as the manager of 85+ personnel in an Area Support Medical Company. This company supported forces engaged in worldwide full spectrum operations and worked on the Joint Task Force-Civilian Support (JTF-CS) directed CBRNE Consequence Management Response Force. I was responsible for all the planning, resourcing, and assessing of training for the company, as well as, sustaining readiness of all property and equipment valued in excess of $8.8 million.

I served as the senior logistics officer for a Multifunctional Medical Battalion that supported 16 units. I was responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, executing, training, and logistical support to over 600 personnel. I managed the operational readiness of over $50 million worth of assigned equipment. I planned and coordinated the logistical support required to sustain combat health support forces capable of full spectrum, joint, and expeditionary health support operations during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, CBRN Consequence Management Reaction Force, and Severe Weather Response.
