I began my career in technology unexpectedly, I started with the focus on car audio, sparked by a passion for electronics and problem-solving, which grew after receiving my first computer in school.Upon graduating, I joined Intel as a contractor technician testing early Intel silicon. I quickly became immersed in the latest technologies and validation processes, testing new processors, and debugging hardware issues, eventually transitioning to a full-time role 1996. I enjoyed solving complex problems, working with lead engineers, and expanding my knowledge of CPU architecture and debug tools.I led efforts in system debugging, learning tools like logic analyzers and JTAG scanning to troubleshoot failures. A critical silicon bug I identified during a video server failure led to a silicon recall and solidified my passion for debugging. This success opened doors for additional opportunities, including CPU power-on debugging. As my career progressed, I moved into management roles, initially leading mobile CPU validation teams, and later managing a global integrated graphics validation team. I developed expertise in analyzing data trends, leading teams across multiple regions, and managing both internally and customer-found defects. In 2008, I transitioned to working directly with customers as the US vPro Enablement Manager. I collaborated with major OEMs to support product development and ensure manufacturing readiness. By 2011, I helped create Intel’s Customer Debug Engineering organization where I grew the team to 65 employees and 10 contractors across multiple countries. I partnered to drive the establishment of Taipei training centers and customer workshops. I also facilitated validation efforts and implemented tools to enhance customer debugging processes. Later, I became Platform Debug and Workshop Director, focusing on Intel's Skylake and Kaby Lake platforms. The highlight of my career came with the development and launch of the Customer Shift Left Program (CSLP) on Kaby Lake, which aimed to bring customers into the design process earlier to identify and resolve defects before product launch. This program, which saved customers significant time and money, became a cornerstone of Intel’s client product enabling strategy.Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to improving quality, driving customer engagement, and developing innovative solutions in debug and validation. My work continues to impact Intel’s approach to product quality, driving new initiatives like Customer Issue Tracking and contributing to the company’s commitment to excellence.
