Jedadel was established to provide interim financial and management expertise to businesses.Assignment remit for a large airline business, was to assess the Shared Services, Payroll & Cost Accounting functions and initiate a programme for improved performance ensuring the function supported the business requirements through development of rigorous processes, controls and KPI reporting.Some focuses were:• The governance framework by implementing a delegated authorities manual for the business;• The review of the vendor payment terms and the consolidation of disparate terms, higher accuracy of forecast payments and lower cash strain on the business;• Development of KPI metrics to track the performance of the back-office support functions.
