David Dingman is a private equity executive currently serving as a Vice President at RedBird Capital Partners and as Managing Director of Shipston Group. In his tenure at Shipston, David has overseen many of the company’s global investments across a range of industries, including automotive, biotech, real estate and fintech. David previously led Shipston’s roll up and integration of multiple high-precision machining companies and low-pressure aluminum casting suppliers to create Mobex Global, a fully integrated partner to the automotive, heavy-duty, construction, agriculture and industrial markets at the forefront of the evolving mobility industry.David has served as a Board member of Mobex Global since 2014. In 2023, he was appointed to the Board of Luyuan Electric Vehicle.In his role at RedBird, David helps lead the sourcing and due diligence involved with new investment opportunities and manages and oversees the firm’s investments in Compass Datacenters, Main Event and Aquarian Holdings. As a philanthropic leader, David serves on the Board of the Boston Winter Ball, as an Advisor Advocate for the OKU Foundation and as an advisor to the Michael and Elizabeth Dingman Foundation.
