Directed marketing strategies for 17 offices in Orange County and the Coachella Valley with sales reaching $3.7 B. Managed $3M budget. Managed local company website and printing of newspaper magazine insert called View.• Led team of 12 direct reports and 10 field marketing coordinators (at peak) supporting the marketing needs of approximately 1,400 agents. Responsibilities included hiring, training, mentoring, scheduling, performance reviews, and task assignments.• Acted as project manager and gave direction on content, interface and identity requirements for the magazine, website, blog and television show for the launch of new real estate-focused magazine. • Helped increase agent retention and recruiting without an increase in budget. • Advertising model copied by three different metro regions.• Restructured and organized department multiple times due to the changes in real estate market after 2006. This was accomplished by eliminating staff, outsourcing services, creating more efficient processes and reducing services while minimizing the effect on our agents. • Created new production process for weekly magazine that reduced production staffing requirements by two-thirds, resulting in approximately $85,000 in savings per year.• Negotiated price reductions for printing that reduced marketing print costs by 15%.• Built a core team 12 marketing professionals that maintained high levels of service after four rounds of layoffs.• Planned and began implementation of social media campaign that involved the use of our blog, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Plans included questions of the week for our agents, neighborhood highlights a weekly message from our President and providing relevant news information to our readers.
