I oversee the validation of ECU integration requirements for all vehicle functionalities, including ADAS, safety, powertrain, and infotainment. Testing spans master nodes like cameras and engine control units, ensuring proper operation and coordination with linked control units. Tests are conducted on static benches, HIL benches, and onboard vehicles.I assume the roles of both driver and passenger during tests, monitoring real-time data for accuracy. I optimize outcomes by analyzing diagnostic trouble codes and flashing new software versions onto ECUs for peak performance.

For my Master’s thesis, I conducted comparative studies on the technological and procedural differences between designing carbon prototype vehicles and conventional aluminum ones. My focus was on developing a framework for the hood of an M1-class vehicle for both materials, addressing constraints like hinges, closures, and adhesive points. This required creating shapes compatible with the distinct production processes and connection methods of carbon and aluminum. I thoroughly analyzed the disparities, including weight savings, to justify each design decision.

I have developed the virtual model of the vehicle using the software Simcenter. The implementation was followed by track tests in order to earn information and to validate the model that was then used to develop race strategies based on the optimization goal of reducing fuel consumption over a full race stint
