Reported to management and executive management on the progress and status of these projects.Medical Malpractice Data Collection System (MMDCS) Redesign - OPMC has a need to readdress the processes, policies and systems involved in the reporting of Medical Malpractice Claims. Currently, the outdated systems and processes place a high burden on OPMC staff and claim reporters requiring large numbers of staff to manually enter data into the system. OPMC needs a comprehensive system to track all Medical Malpractice Claims and related data. The system needs to support centralized intake to employ consistent investigation criteria and permit the automated identification of duplicate entries. The system needs to allow for prompt research and retrieval of accurate information from stakeholders and allow OPMC to accurately report out the data that is collected. This redesign will move the application from a Java applet front-end served from a Weblogic server that connects to a Sybase ASE 15.0.3 database to converting this to the latest web technologies designing using struts 2, Weblogic server and Oracle database and jasper reports. Case Management System (CMS Project) - Conversion of three external Lotus Notes application DOH Hearing Cases, Final Actions and Expert Physicians from SQL Server 2000 with JSF into Oracle with Java Spring Frame work on an Oracle Web logic server and FileNet for documentation storage. .
