Lead a global Engineering organization for a $3B+ diversified licensed products business. . Reliability Engineering Manager for DEWALT branded professional power tools. Managed staff of Engineering professionals with responsibility for ensuring new products meet quality and long-term reliability objectives. Actively participate in all phases of product development and manufacturing from initial product definition through mature product warranty support and improvements activities. Reliability and Test functional lead for the development and launch of many DEWALT AC and battery powered tools, including the 20V Max and 12V Max lithium-ion battery systems and family of tools.

Responsible for developing technical and transactional Lean Six Sigma training materials and administering Lean Six Sigma training to Blackbelt and Greenbelt trainees. Performed training globally including operations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. Established and administered in-house certification process. Led technical and transactional continuous improvement projects. Mentored Greenbelts and Blackbelts.

Manage Manufacturing Engineering and Test Engineering for a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Plated Through Hole printed circuit board assembly and system assembly/test facility. Led efforts to consolidate manufacturing into a shared facility within Raytheon. Served in this capacity concurrently with the Quality Leader role.
