Botalite's a Spanish company focused in chatbot development for fact-checking organisations, media outlets and NGOs.Under my CTO tenure, with tasks including setting the technological path of the company, planning the implementation of new technologies to streamline and make workflows easier as well as improving the service to the final user; Botalite has grown from scratch and has now more than 20 clients different countries such as Spain, USA, The Netherlands, Germany, Colombia, Argentina, Italy, India, Ukraine or Australia among others.

Since October 2017, I have been serving as the CTO of the Maldita.es Foundation against disinformation, an organization focused on the fight against disinformation, transparency, and new communication formats.My functions include:* The conceptualization of new technologies and IT-based tools to facilitate the fight against disinformation, both for internal use and for the end user. These internal tools are primarily aimed at simplifying workflow processes within a newsroom, allowing for the storage and management of vast amounts of content in a simple way; and for the user, we offer different ways to access our content easily and comfortably.* The management of an engineering team, prioritizing tasks, communicating with clients, and constant intercommunication with a multidisciplinary team composed of journalists and educators, "translating" needs and requirements to reach the desired solution for all stakeholders.* Support for the development of national and international projects, including Horizon projects of the European Union.* Generative AI integration to streamline workflows, analyze data, and suggest classifications and taxonomies.
