David provides advisory services to the charity and commercial sectors, sharing his commercial experience through long term partnerships. David brings a strong commercial focus on revenue generation, profitability and cashflow, combined with consultancy skills in business process design and technology implementation.His commercial experience was developed through 30 years in capital markets, advising sell-side and buy-side on their business operating models. He was Head of Wholesale Banking at TCA Consulting and Managing Director at Rule Financial before founding his own firm, The Field Effect, which he sold in 2019. His charity experience includes advising the board of a charity in Kent, where as trustee he helped develop the fundraising strategy. He has mentored senior managers of two other charities and has founded a local nature recovery network.
