Managed all aspects of remote and on-site monitoring of ESI’s interactive media installations in corporate and public buildings throughout the U.S. Used Crestron system to schedule content for media displays. Manage all aspects of production of the Small Business Expo, the nation’s largest trade show, conference and networking event for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Each Expo is a huge production with different workshop rooms, demos, lounges, showcases and speakers on a main stage. 12 Expos in 2015 and 15+ in 2016, in major cities throughout the U.S., each drawing 4,000+ attendees and 100+ exhibitors. Hire and supervise staff of 20 or more for each show, including AV, tech and security, and union or nonunion labor depending on city and venue requirements. Create, distribute and ensure compliance with production schedules, task lists and agendas for setup days and show days. Create detailed work orders with diagrams and contacts to streamline processes and operations for different departments. Create floor plans and layouts and secure approvals from venue and fire marshals. Ensure all exhibitor, sponsor and speaker requirements are met including delivery, setup, signage and AV. Manage and coordinate wide range of corporate and private events and meetings for Lighthouse Executive Conference Center & Theater in midtown Manhattan. 1,000+ events per year, 2-5 simultaneous events per day, handled by me and one assistant. Facility has multiple conference rooms, ballrooms, special event spaces, classrooms, and dining rooms, The Academy Theater (East Coast home of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences); and music and dance studios for concerts, recitals, rehearsals and training. Coordinate all event logistics, including room layout, registration and attendee tracking, presentation and materials support, and pre- and post-event evaluations. Proficient in Rendezvous, industry-leading room and event scheduling software. Assist with A/V and staging for Academy Theater events and for Lighthouse-sponsored musical performances at Metropolitan Museum of Art. Work with security staff to ensure celebrities’ privacy and safety in entering and exiting facility for movie screenings and Q&A sessions.
