Civil Engineering instructor

Graduate student in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Engineering and Management. Graduated with honors.

Responsible for 41 Soldiers and their families. Responsible for the pre-deployment training, deployment to Afghanistan, combat operations, and redeployment of the company. As the only attack company attached to the General Support Aviation Battalion during the deployment, responsible for advising the battalion commander on attack aviation operations. Responsible for the maintenance and mission readiness of 13 AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopters.

Military training and education course whose mission is to prepare students for the leadership, training, and administrative requirements of a successful company commander and for the execution of the tactical planning responsibilities of Battalion S3s. The course focuses on working in small groups and works closely with international allies who also send students to the course.I graduated with honors (Top 5) in a class of approximately 50 people.

Deployed for 12 months as a Multi-functional Aviation Task Force Battle Captain in Afghanistan. Responsible for daily mission tracking, asset allocation, and contingency executions for all aviation operations in our dedicated area. Flew 300 combat hours and attained Pilot-in-Command (PC) and Air Mission Commander (AMC) designations.

Responsible for 17 Soldiers and their families. Responsible for advising and assisting the commander on the management of the Aircrew Training Program that ensures sustainment training and proficiency for 28 pilots. Maintained the accountability and mission readiness of four AH-64D Longbow Apache Helicopters, three ground vehicles, and associated ground equipment.

Served as the Distribution Platoon Leader, responsible for the readiness, training, manning, equipping, standardization, and welfare of 50 Soldiers and their families. Maintained the accountability and mission readiness of 25 ground vehicles and associated equipment.

Complete all requirements to graduate IERW (Initial Entry Rotatory Wing) Training as a rated Army aviation officer. Key requirements include the successful completion of SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) Level C Training and HOST (Helicopter Over-water Survival Training, aka "Dunker"). Graduated as a rated AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter pilot.Also completed my certifications and tests as a civilian helicopter pilot.
