Key responsibilities included:• Programme Manager for a series of trading floor expansion projects costing almost GBP 10 million, providing an additional 600 trader positions - completed on time and under budget (while the building remained occupied by the FICC trading teams.)• Business Continuity – successfully maintained near-normal trading activity during two building evacuations• Support the joiner/mover/leaver process: ensure new hires (and transfers) have access to buildings, workstations and applications when they start. Similarly, managing the exit process for leavers – cancelling Market Data and application access, retrieving blackberries, laptops, etc. (In London ~2,150 staff joined and 1,800 left FICC since 2006.)• Cost management: overseeing the staff expense approvals; approval for Market Data Services; negotiation with key vendors and suppliers.• Implementation of IT hardware and software upgrade projects:o Front Office hardware upgradeso Global System access rights management: to record user access to critical applications and ensure joiners’, movers’, and leavers’ access is properly reviewed. This includes segregation of duties reviews.
