David is an experienced Board Director and Chair in the private and Not for profit sector. David specialises in Board transformation, Director selection, governance, finance and strategy. David's personal mission is to enrich the lives of people living with disability and drive improved governance, professionalism and accountability in the NFP sector. David is currently Chair of the board Down Syndrome Queensland, Director and Treasurer Down Syndrome Australia, Director BlewChip International and a partner Redstar Trading. David is part of the organising committee for the World Down Syndrome Conference being held in Brisbane in July 2024 and sits on Disability working groups and advisory groups. David calls on extensive international business experience to bring commercial, strategic and leadership skills to improve the performance of NFP Boards. David has held positions as VP Marketing, VP Finance, Manager Strategy and Analysis and Corporate Strategy Advisor before accepting Directorships of private companies, Chair positions and commencing consulting and advisory engagements. David works in the Disability sector having previously worked in the mining, coal seam / shale gas, energy, aluminium, oil and gas and explosive industries at operating sites, divisional and corporate offices in a variety of executive roles. David brings deep functional competency in sales and marketing, fundraising, commercial and risk management, innovation, business development and M&A,operations, finance and strategy. Significant international exposure having lived and worked in the Asia, US, Europe and Australia.Recent clients include international investment banks and hedge funds, Tier 1 management consultants and private companies engaged for strategic and analytical advice on mining, oil and gas and explosives industry projects. David is a Former director GlobalCoal ltd and BHPBilliton B.V. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Queensland, MBA (Deans List) from Melbourne Business School, Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors and Member Institute of Engineers Australia.David is also the Founder of the Fuller Family Foundation aimed at improving the lives of those who need help.
