About David Galindez

Well, I began studying film and video in high school and graduated to video production in college where I got my first taste for the news. I started out with director in mind, working with a Grass Valley switcher to do live broadcasts for the school's public channel. From there I got a job as a news videographer with WPSD Newschannel 6 in Paducah, KY. I worked that for about 2 years before deciding that I needed to be in the mountains, so I packed it up and moved to Gunnison, CO where I found Rocky Mountain Television, a small television production company that specializes in promotions and marketing in the hunting and fishing industries. After working in Colorado for about 5 years, I then moved to Austin, TX where I picked back up on my career in News as a freelance shooter/editor and director. After a few years there I have been back in my hometown of Memphis, TN for the last 7+ years where I've worked everything from editing to photog and landing on 6pm and 10pm Lead Newscast Director Monday thru Friday.
