At CIRA, I led data science and analytics development for an emerging cybersecurity product at a not-for-profit organization. Some of my project at CIRA included:- Prototyping DNS firewall features in an agile environment using a scrum framework.- Developing a machine learning workflow using ElasticSearch (NoSQL database), MySQL, and Python to process DNS data in real-time and prepare it for data analysis.- Implementing unsupervised machine learning techniques including hierarchical and density-based clustering to analyze millions of daily DNS requests and isolate malicious devices.- Creating an API-driven dashboard to enable data-driven decision-making for marketing.

My second role at DND was to manage accommodation requests for ADM(IM) including space audits and resource planning. I took the initiative to begin an IT Infrastructure Modernization project, to improve the existing tracking and reporting practices as they were based on legacy technology and out-dated processes.I conducted a current/target state analysis to identify business-critical areas that needed improvement. I gathered requirements and began developing a new SharePoint/SQL-based MS Access database to manage all accommodations tracking and planning. I developed a comprehensive project plan to transition from shared drives to SharePoint, including communication strategies, training, and support.

As a Correspondence Officer in the Legal Services Unit, I bridge the gap between the DFO and DOJ by managing and organizing time-critical requests for legal input/approval, and act as a first point of contact for all DFO departments to contact Legal Services. I acted as a direct liason between the Assistant Deputy Minister/Senior General Counsel and any internal departments requesting ADM-level legal approval.While performing daily responsibilities as a Correspondence Officer, I also rebuilt and refined the key MS Access database supporting daily operations for docket tracking and reporting.

At MNP's Kanata office (formerly A Hundred Answers), I worked as an analyst to support a number of internal initiatives as well as client-facing work. I performed in-depth research to compare leading DXP solutions and their application in various industries, including the identification of new client opportunities. I developed a comprehensive training curriculum for province-wide Tableau training. I worked as an analyst and scribe for a public sector project to assess current state IM practices and define the future state for a records management system, as well as a fit-gap analysis for native MS Sharepoint capabilities. Finally, I was the a content driver of two key proposals for business technology engagements.

I worked in Records and Information Management in order to manage the creation, organization, and disposition of vast amounts of classified records and data. I helped develop file plans and coach clients on effective IM practices. Using a ticket system (ASSYST), I also analyzed file requests and completed RM analyses by consulting an appropriate Records Disposition Authority (DSCDS), and used an OpenText solutions (GCDocs) to create and organize records. This position required professional and effective communication within my team and with clients to discuss the viability of file requests and carry them out efficiently.I personally improved workplace efficiency and eliminated hours of daily work for each employee on my team by developing new methods to objectify client business requirements and automate repetitive tasks, leading to a more efficient workplace and more positive client interactions. I also developed critical macro-driven Excel workbooks and dashboards used daily for upper managers to make decisions.

As an analyst in the Analytics and Information Management stream of the Technology Consulting practice, I worked flexibly with teams of consultants to complete tech-related client projects, involving business planning, procurement strategies, vendor assessment, implementation, and support.I was engaged for two major projects with public sector clients. In the first, I identified and analyzed business requirements for a cloud-based ERP implementation through workshops and independent research, and performed a vendor market assessment.
