Lead and provide oversight for management reporting & analysis team responsible for product and distribution channel profitability reporting, finance support for major projects and acquisitions, strategic business planning, new product and pricing analysis and preparation of monthly business metrics reporting. The division generates $1B in annual revenue across Equity, Fixed Income, Money Market and Alternative/Hedge Fund investment products. Mutual funds, separate accounts, alternative strategies and commingled products are distributed through Institutional, Retail and High Net Worth sales channels in the USA, Europe and Asia.

Managed team responsible for monthly closing of the books, forecasting and budgeting. Additional responsibilities during the 5 year period also included oversight responsibly for account reconciliations, incentive plan administration, accounts payable/receivable and a wire/cash desk.

Provided support as an analyst on a small internal consulting team that was assigned to various profitability enhancement initiatives within the company. Primary emphasis on the Retail Banking and Capital Management divisions.

Responsible for consolidation of Wachovia subsidiaries for monthly and quarterly reporting. Served as member of team that merged acquired company general ledger systems during a three year period of heavy M&A activity. Collaborated with legal, tax and business lines to set up new entities as necessary.
