Providing consulting services related to the portfolio of editorial services offered by 4Evolution, focused on copyediting and proofreading.• Testing candidates based in Dumaguete, The Philippines and providing recommendations regarding staffing and assignment decisions.• Exploring additional production-related avenues related to new services to be provided by 4Evolution in the near future.

Managed all activities related to Aptara's offshore copyediting group program. Focused on US- and UK-based customers, gauged exact copyediting needs and served as a liaison between customers, the copyediting resources, and management. Created a series of proprietary tests to measure English-language proficiency, which were administered to candidates and staff. Graded and summarized over 7,500 tests.Created a series of proprietary language tutorials, which were presented in over 500 group sessions.Conducted over 700 individual language coaching sessions.Completed seventeen 30-day in-country visits, which included working in Delhi, Dehradun, and Trivandrum.Was responsible for all hiring related to the ~175-member offshore copyediting staff.Created, launched, and wrote all content for a proprietary website designed specifically as a training platform and combination help-desk/forum exclusively for Aptara's copyediting and production communities.Conducted Google Meet training sessions for copy editors located throughout India. Sessions were held ~4 times per month.Created a training and testing platform for production editors and project managers. Administered a 5-session training program to ~75 staff based in India, which included a module for improving written communication.

Was responsible for all production, creative services, manufacturing, scheduling, vendor relations, and budgeting issues for a list comprised of professional finance and trade publications. Small list, with a focus on absolute accuracy and high quality.

Simultaneously managed three higher ed lists over the course of 7+ years: Engineering, Computer Science, and Advanced Math. Highly technical material, with robust art programs and comprehensive supplements packages, including print and online products as well as physical media. Well over 100 products per year.

Managed production for approximately 25 titles per year on the chemistry list within STM, from manuscript to bound book. Extensive, personalized author contact; included reviewing copyediting and proofreading as well as managing freelance and commercial vendors, both in the US and India.
