• I managed and supervised three regional quality assurance posts. I ensured their work was prioritised, coordinated and of a high standard• I provided quality assurance for reports to external audiences including, but not limited to: the Care Quality Commission (CQC), coroners, safeguarding boards and commissioners• I ensured all local services understood CQC regulations and quality assure when any of the services were required to notify the CQC. I ensured investigations and reports met the regulations and I supported services in improvement where gaps existed• I worked with local services to ensure the requirements of coroners was met through effective coroner reporting. This was done to reduce the need to attend inquest and the issuing of further actions from the coroner• I delivered coaching and training to local services who were writing reports and notifications• I worked within the Central Quality Team to ensure tools were produced to continue to increase the quality of notifications, investigations and reports written by local managers• I ensured that all common themes, lessons learned and quality improvement areas were prioritised with local management teams and operational directors• I assisted in developing local and regional service quality improvement plans incorporating these common themes• I also provided a degree of flexibility and contributed to the wider strategic aims and ongoing development of CGL

- Delivery of core training to staff and managers that adhered to policy, procedures, legislation, laws and all other compliance- Supported services in training and development needs through quality improvement cycles- Supported implementation of new services- Offer of ad-hoc consultancy on development needs for staff- Support of national new substance misuse trends (New Psychoactive Substances) and project managing an EU wide project called EPPIC
