Senior Manager, Regulatory And Credentialing Oversight
CurrentPlans, manages and leads the development, implementation and oversight of harmonizedcredentialing operational policies, programs, guidelines and processes for the review,approval, oversight, and compliance review of credentialing bodies responsible forprotecting the title of the Financial Planner and Financial Advisor professional communitiesas well as continuing education and examination requirements in the Life, MortgageBrokering and P&C Sectors.Manages the unit and its staff to support an environment and culture of service excellencewhich respects diversity, encourages all employees to work together to achieve resultsand contribute to a healthy, rewarding and productive working environment wherepersonal and team accountability are key to meeting the mandate of FRSA. Accountablefor building a strong team including: hiring, orienting, training and coaching of staff,determination of performance standards, conduct of performance reviews andmanagement of performance and employee relations matters.Develops and manages relationships and consultation with stakeholders impacted by unitprograms and operations to discuss and clarify program or service-related issues andneeds and to lead outreach education initiatives.Provides program/service expertise and advice to FSRA management and staff inresponse to operational or program issues impacting the achievement of department orsub-function directions; providing evidence-based recommendations for problemresolution and improvement to methods to deliver programs or services.
