Engaged as part of a 5-man ‘rapid resolution’ team to turnaround failing or under-performing branches. Liaised with senior local management; analysed and diagnosed issues (people, process, organisational, sales, compliance, disciplinary); and designed, trained and implemented bespoke solutions. Successes included saving 5 branches under imminent threat of compliance closure, and improving sales performance in over 15 branches by up to 120%.
National Sales Director
Newhall needed to transform its operating model after losing its charity link. Engaged by new MD initially to lead UK sales operation and latterly to reduce costs and re-define sales model. Re-designed & streamlined operating process, with in-built metrics; selected & downsized from 150 to 50 full-time & 10 000 to 5000 p/time workforce; retrained & redeployed people into new roles; and initiated and implemented new sales management practices and incentives.
