Finance Operations Analyst
CurrentPlayed a major part in transforming Insight Investment’s invoicing function for billing management and performance fees to clients, significantly improving performance and client service.• Provide management cover: manage and develop team members, lead management meetings, be fully accountable for performance.• Oversee and manage outsourced service provider for invoicing fees to clients, and apply organisational skills to prioritise and maintain performance targets.• Interview potential candidates and train new team members.• Use written and oral communication skills to articulate complex problems and influence behaviour to minimise risk.• Work closely with client-facing teams and provide excellent service through collaboration and building relationships.• With attention to detail, review investment management agreements (IMAs), as well as other client information in Salesforce and SharePoint, and advise on solutions for complex fees.• In charge of performance fee calculations, accruals, reviews and controls.• Responsible for posting monthly journals for performance fee accruals to the accounting system.• Calculate pooled fund, segregated and currency exposure billing values, including through the use of data mapping and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.• Update information and models in Bizagi and Anaplan, and work on projects for larger changes.• Produce data analysis, including for revenue and profitability, and present to senior management.
