Manage a team developing and refining Engineering Processes which includes coordination across groups, process improvement, process automation (supporting IT), training and external interfaces. Team also deals with cross-discipline regulatory compliance improvements and engineering data management. Responsibilities recently expanded to Engineering Lead for the Integration Leadership Team dealing with merging the various maintenance and engineering data systems into one platform. Manage other functions that don't align with specific engineering groups such as SCEPTRE data management, proprietary data, export controls and document retention. Also ODA STC Assistant Administrator.

Manage the Engineering Standards team in executing a variety of engineering and merger-related requirements. Continue ODA Lead Administrator activities. Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) is granted by the FAA to organizations that continually demonstrate compliance to FAA regulations in performing major alterations and repairs.

Responsible for an engineering team to performing certification engineering on new airplane modification projects (all fleets). The team members will work closely with project engineers. Transitioned the team from the FAA Designated Alteration Station - Supplemental Type Certificate (DAS-STC) process to the Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) which includes the STC, MRA & Airworthiness (Inspection) processes. Also responsible for an engineering team that works closely with regulatory agencies (FAA, EPA, DOT, etc.) on emerging industry issues to prepare the airline to meet the upcoming requirements with the least impact possible.

Served various technical & management positions throughout career at UA. Program Manager for 777 interiors and systems modifications for 10 years (new seats, inflight entertainment, etc.). Interiors/Payloads Manager for 3 years. 737 Structures & Flight Controls Engineering Supervisor for 2 years. 747 Fleet Chief - Aircraft Engineering from March 2005 to February 2009.

Led BAMAA Chapter in offering business-related events for USC alumni in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Progressed through a series of technical and management positions including major project implementation (120' long robotic chemical etching facility), new product development (aluminum forgings and castings, support equipment), facilities engineering (buildings and equipment installations) and safety improvements.
