(Thailand) Creation of Marketing Department at the Ducati Motor Thailand factory in the Rayong region to serve all Marketing and Communication activities across 15 markets in Asia including CI management, events, community, CRM and internal and external communications.

Bologna Area, Italy

(Italy) Day-to-day management of all international press relationships and activities including new model launches and press test events. Working closely with Designers, Project Engineers and Product Marketing Managers, created precise and informative materials to communicate Ducati’s innovative product line-up and maximise its global brand exposure.

(Italy) Teaching race track riding skills within the Ducati Riding Experience (DRE) project at Italian circuits such as Adria, Imola, Misano, Monza and Mugello. This activity integrated with the product management of the Superbike model family, providing direct contact with end-users as well as full hands-on exposure to the product.

(Italy) Product Manager for Desmosedici RR, Hypermotard, Streetfighter and Superbike model families. Analysing market trends and owner preferences to ensure new products meet the high expectation associated with premium sport motorcycles. Following projects from concept to production and acting as ‘gate-keeper’ to specific project objectives. Establishing logic in family structure via model specification, performance and price and constantly providing internal feed-back on current products.

(Italy) Managing all content used in the presentation of the entire Ducati model range, including descriptive texts, features and benefits, tech spec and images.

(Italy) Managing all official online materials for Ducati Corse and official riders, including 'real time' racing news, data and images from all major racing activities around the world as well as the official Ducati Corse online Press Area for subscription only media use.

(Germany) World Sidecar Championship 'Passenger' to Steve Webster MBE with Team Steinhausen prepared Suzuki LCRs and competing within the World Superbike series. Worked also on managing sponsorship relationships, producing press information, generating TV coverage and raising international awareness of the sport. Became the first motorcycle sportsman to be regarded as an athelete and backed by National Lottery funding in association with the UK Sports Council.• End of 1999 retired from 20 years of racing, living in Imola, Italy.• 1st place - 1999 Sidecar World Championship.

(England) Entered the company as a CNC programmer producing after-market chassis components for Lotus sports cars and prototype race cars. Promoted to Factory Manager and assumed responsibility for approximately 50 engineers, machinists, fabricators and welders and total engineering production, from Lotus componets and prototype race cars to industrial machinery.• 1995 trained ready for a top team test in Barcelona at the final GP.• 1992-1994 see below.• 1991 competed in the 125cc & 600cc British Championships.

(England) A new sidecar team with the single focus of competing in the World Championship GPs. Partnering Australian David Hoskin, we progressed through the British Championships to European and then finally World Championship level. I had complete technical responsibility for the LCR ADM Yamaha 500, from complete engine and chassis preparation to dyno development.• 1994 competed in the Sidecar World Championship.• 1993 finished 2nd in the Sidecar European Championship.• 1992 finished 3rd in the Sidecar British Championship.

(England) Responsible for the technical service department as well as building a reputation that enabled the company to grow into being Yamaha's highest selling dealership in the region.• 1990 competed in the 125cc & 600cc British Championships.• 1988-1989 competed in 250cc club championships.• 1987 won the BRC 250cc Championship competing on the prototype that I had developed at David James Racing.

(England) Built my own company specializing in the preparation of race bikes and rebuilding of race engines. Developed and built a prototype 250cc chassis using a reversed cylinder Yamaha (before Yamaha developed the reverse cylinder 250).• After some initial success on the track, I decided to sell the company and concentrate on my own racing career.
