After graduating from NUI Galway in 2008 with a Post Graduate in Marketing I decided to travel and live abroad, travelling through many parts of Asia and living in Australia and New Zealand working in various jobs. This was an amazing experience and provided me with the opportunity to meet new people from various cultures from around the world. Upon arriving back home to Ireland I took the opportunity to participate in the Higher Diploma in Software Development in the University of Limerick. After completing this course and graduating from University of Limerick I now currently hold the position of Software Support Engineer in AMCS Group based in Limerick who are a world leading provider of recycling and waste management software and vehicle technology solutions. Participation in the Higher Diploma in Software Development from the University of Limerick has provided me with the fantastic opportunity to learn new languages and skills such as JAVA programming, .NET, C# and SQL. During my time with AMCS I hope to utilise these newly acquired skills in combination with my previous skill sets in the Business sector and develop a successful career within the exciting and fast growing dynamic Software Industry.
