PROJECT CHIEF - CHRYSLER SEAT ENGINEERINGCoordinate and shepherd complete seat design and development for the Jeep Cherokee seat programs (approximately $330M) with the engineering team at the CTC in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Responsible to guarantee the development of the seat system according to quality, time and cost objectives and ensure compliance with technical requirements. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:• Lead and coordinate technical issue resolution• Manage all product cards, support timing of the program, and provide the interface to procurement• Lead Component Cost, Weight & Investment (CWI) activities for vehicle model• Prototype part supply (documentation, cost & timing, implementation)• Lead Build Coordination• Represents Engineering for problem solving at the assembly plant• Compliance & certification completion responsibility

Leader of Sales, Program Management and Engineering activities for several programs and projects spanning IAC’s entire product offering of interior components. Worked closely with plants across the country to maintain production of high quality interior plastics, carpets and roofing components.• Responsible for sales and program management for IAC’s Tier I supplier programs. Managed projects with several customers, multiple product lines and a majority of IAC production facilities with sales worth approximately $200M.• Program leader for carpeting, insulation, headliners, door panels, interior trim, plastic components and instrument panels.• Included in IAC purchase from Lear Corporation of all non-seating and electronics business.

Leader of Sales, Program Management and Engineering activities for several programs and projects spanning Lear’s entire product offering of interior components. Worked closely with plants across the country to successfully launch and maintain production of high quality vehicle components.• Managed sales and program management team and provided oversight of engineering group to launch the Nissan Altima Coupe interior program ($30M/yr in sales). • Managed all O/I improvement activities for the Nissan Division of Lear resulting in $1.3M in annual savings.• Managed sales and program management team and provided oversight of engineering group to launch the Nissan Quest Minivan interior program ($36M/yr in sales).
