About David Goren

I am an intellectual property attorney focused on mechanical, electrical and software products. I began my career as a technical writer at a start-up company. My background is in physics, so I've handled both difficult issues such as superconductivity, plasma processing, and MEMs, as well as more conventional mechanical and electrical cases such as medical devices, analog and digitial circuitry. I'm excited about all levels of technology, anywhere from nanotechnology through financial service software. I counsel clients on patent-related matters, perform patent portfolio analysis and management, prepare patent applications, conduct freedom to operate studies, work on post-grant review proceedings, and conduct intellectual property due diligence in support of corporate transactions. I really enjoy working with my clients - big and small - to guide their intellectual property strategy and help maximize the value of their IP assets.
