Delivered user research including value proposition testing, discovery research and usability testing into a software development team operating within the biopharmaceutical space. • Undertook UX research for an innovative CI/CD SaaS project delivering new data transfer solutions to biopharma customers including discovery research, persona development, workflow mapping and prototype testing. Access to the data will significantly enhance the user experience for quality control, process optimization and troubleshooting for pharmaceutical companies.• Developed and implemented the process for integrating user experience (UX) deliverables into the newly defined product development processes following the merge of Pall and Cytiva.• Created essential templates to standardize UX documentation, ensuring consistency across projects.• Designed comprehensive training materials to onboard cross-functional teams on the new process including 15 centralised UX team members and 10 satellite UX staff.

Conducted UX research that supported the development of new systems that operate within both upstream and downstream bioprocessing. This included developing personas, mapping workflows, gemba, user interviews and usability testing to support new product development.• Delivered discovery research on a bench-scale bioreactor enabling to team to explore novel form factors.• Established the tools, templates and processes to support the scaling of the UX function to 12 individuals.• Defined user research processes and deliverables as the organisation moved to Continuous Delivery for software releases.• Designed and ran a survey to 1600+ internal employees to understand the UX team performance and identify opportunities for future improvements for the UX team. Prism is a a cloud, SaaS solution and is developed using Agile development process and operates under and continuous delivery mechanism.• Supported the development of junior UX team members on research best practices including being shadowed through research activities and callobrating on data analysis and report preparation.• Defined UX research templates and processes while delivering discovery research and usability testing on the Work Orders functionality of the Prism property management software.

Using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods I delivered insights into multiple system and software projects from early-stage discovery through to late-stage summative testing.• These included the award-winning Waters_Connect software platform which cut the time taken to evaluate data by 40%.• The TQ Absolute mass spectrometer which had a particular focus on ease of use and sustainability, with a 45% smaller footprint and a 50% reduction in power and nitrogen use.
