I developed the ecommerce system that powers www.SenseCreative.co.uk from server side to front end development and design. The company takes orders online for approximately 400 print products ranging from business cards, leaflets, brochures to consumer products such as photobooks and magnets and prints the majority of products in-house. The system I build allows anyone to place an order online for a predefined or bespoke print product, pay for the order online and upload artwork. I also developed an online designer system to allow a consumer users to design photo based products. The layouts created by the user can then be printed by production. My illustration and print design skilled enable me to design a system which could work for the both the consumer and print production. In order to reduce costs I also developed systems for artwork downloading, order processing and courier dispatch (DPD and Royal Mail) Integrating with systems such as Enfocus Switch. As the business grew I managed 3 other web and graphic designers in my team (including an apprentice) and worked closely with management on business decisions and purchases.
