As Vice President of our vibrant debating society, I'm the go-to support for our Presidents, helping steer the ship for our 400-strong community. I work closely with our 17-person committee, making sure everything from public debates to social events runs smoothly.On the logistical side, I handle room bookings and minute-taking, keeping our operations ticking like clockwork. In this role, I'm constantly refining my leadership and organizational skills while fostering an inclusive space where lively discussions thrive and friendships flourish.

Planning and organising multi-day hiking trips for society members, writing risk assessments and preparing for different high impact scenarios.Dealing with complex logistics around accommodation, transport and logistics, as well as expensing and budgeting them.Advertising trips and onboarding participants, ensuring they have adequate knowledge and capabilities.Leading trips of up to 15 people, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere, creating memorable and rewarding outdoor experiences.
