After graduating from university with a joint honours degree in Law and Property Valuation, I spent the first five years of my professional career with SWIFT focusing on international payments and financial market infrastructure. In July 2017 I was recruited to join the first new clearing bank in the United Kingdom in more than 250 years – ClearBank® – helping banks, e-money institutions, other non-bank financial institutions and fintech’s access real-time payment services through ClearBank’s proprietary platform and API’s.In June 2019 I joined the StoneX’s Global Payments division (Nasdaq: SNEX) which specialises in emerging market foreign exchange and local currency payments across 140+ currencies and 170+ countries. My first three years at StoneX were focused on helping our large network of correspondent banks utilise state-of-the-art financial technology and intelligent automation services to realise meaningful operational improvements, scale and cost efficiencies. Since June 2022 I have been leading StoneX's blockchain research and development, specifically exploring crypto-based payment solutions and other associated strategic blockchain ventures.
