With over 15 years of experience in communicating with individuals and communities about mental health and the natural environment, I founded Art Meets Plants in January 2023. Art Meets Plants is a business that offers mindfulness workshops that combine creative, mindful, and enjoyable activities with indoor plants. My mission is to provide a supportive and enjoyable environment to practice mindfulness skills through the challenging experiences presented by artistic indoor plant creation, while also nurturing practical tools for improved mental health and well-being outside of the workshop. As the Founder and Director of Art Meets Plants, I leverage my qualifications and expertise in botany, environmental science, economics, and social science to design and deliver workshops that blend nature, self-expression, and community. I also host, curate, and speak at events that promote mental health awareness, culture change, and ecological literacy. I am passionate about helping people discover the benefits of connecting with plants, art, and themselves.

Executive Director OperationsGood Super Oct 2013 - Oct 2014Melbourne Cbd, AustraliaGood Super is a retail superannuation fund investing in profitable solutions to significant social and environmental problems. As the first employee of Good Super, I opened the first office, hired all key staff, prototyped and developed all day-to-day operations and processes. From zero members when I joined in October 2013, to 12,000 in October 2014, my innovations in driving consumer behaviour led to Good Super acquiring more members than any new superannuation fund. Under my leadership, Good Super built and developed a socially responsible culture resulting in CPA risk-aligned marketing partnerships with a projected value of over $20m in 2014-5, and designed and implemented an outbound call centre and Zendesk ticketing system addressing 1,000 compliance enquiries per month with an average resolution time less than 24 hrs with 99% of enquiries handled by junior staff. -
