At the end of the 1990's I was looking for a creative career path, so I enrolled in a Bay Area technical college with the intent to learn Graphic Design. After a course in HTML, I realized that laying out pages and linking them together was fun, and that designing for the web was what I wanted to do.In 2002 I returned to Arizona and began my first Web Design position at a small telecommunications company, where I worked for several years, picking up a bit of phone system programming along the way. In 2007, I was introduced to search engine metrics, which became a path that I followed for 9 years, in a number consulting and permanent positions. In this time, I created marketing websites, e-commerce stores, blogs, graphics, and content, while digging deeper into Search Engine Optimization and Marketing.In 2015, after reassessing my goals, I wanted to balance out the abundance of analytical work with more creativity, and more technical know-how. This led to my current role as Web Administrator, which spans multiple disciplines; including Graphic Design, Front-End Development, LAMP stack administration, Search Engine Optimization, multimedia content creation and marketing.
