• Drive team performance through prioritization and hands-on development of Standard Operating Procedures.• Interface with Sales Engineering, Purchasing, Scheduling and other members of the Production team relative to planning and scheduling of work orders and cost estimation of product.• Ensure effective and frequent communication with shop personnel related to company and departmental developments.

• Manage projects supporting recruiting/hiring, production related cost-saving initiatives, and new hire training/onboarding, resulting in ~$5M annualized cost savings. • Allocate factory-wide resources and staffing levels to meet production, compliance, personnel, and project objectives.• Lead negotiations and grievance procedures with union leadership.• Schedule and execute ongoing personnel movement opportunities for ~850 hourly employees, to include promotions, shift changes, lateral moves, etc.• Led teams in multiple functions across manufacturing operations, to include production, maintenance, staffing, and finished goods warehouse operations.• Coached/Mentored teams and individuals regarding performance improvement and administered reward, recognition, and consequences when appropriate.• Developed key line of sight measures to link unit performance to factory-wide objectives.• Coordinated and executed production schedules, reactive and planned maintenance, and compliance protocol activities in order to meet business demand and assure effective execution of work.

• Calibrate inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE) across multiple disciplines – Acoustical, Chemical, Dimensional, DC/Low Frequency, RF/Microwave, Fluid, Mechanical, Optical, Thermodynamics, and Time & Frequency.• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of precision equipment.• Identify IM&TE out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc.• Design and document measurement reference material for laboratory use.• Train subordinates in calibration concepts and procedures.
