After spending most of my career in the forest industry I have made a transition into construction, purchasing half of Alpine Insulation Ltd. in 2013. Alpine was founded in 1979 and has grown over time to become the largest and only full-service insulation company servicing Vancouver Island. With its current workforce of 45 experienced and service oriented employees, Alpine has over 300 years of insulation experience which equates to an average of 7 years experience per employee. Based in Victoria, Alpine undertakes large commercial projects, new home construction, retrofit activities (including removal of old insulation) as well as some industrial applications such as fireproofing. Alpine is focused on customer service, education and quality workmanship. We pay our employees hourly which helps to contribute to our ability to provide quality work as opposed to having piece workers who are largely focused on production targets.
