Equipment included a work platform / dolly and spreader bar.• Modeled assemblies parametrically using Unigraphics (over 4000 hours logged). Detailed layouts and drawings, selected fasteners and materials, performed fit checks, wrote assembly procedures and ensured compliance with military and aerospace standards.• Evaluated loads on targets due to plume from control jets during shuttle docking. Developed analysis criteria and methodology. Wrote software in FORTRAN and C++ to perform complex calculations, constructed finite element and geometric models. Performed dynamic computations, optimizing the orientation of components such as solar panels on the Space Station to minimize loads.
