David Lipton is President and co-founder of Toronto based Sensors Quality Management Inc. (SQM). David and his former classmate Craig Henry recognized a need for Mystery Shopping within the hospitality industry and founded Sensors Quality Management in 1993. The company began with modest roots: zero clients, zero contracts, and zero dollars in the bank. Today SQM boasts hundreds of clients, services every industry, maintains operations worldwide, and continues to grow.Along with his passion for helping companies, David is passionate about helping the community. He and SQM have been recognized for supporting a variety of charities, and he has made SQM an Imagine Caring Company (donating at least one percent of their pre-tax profit to charity). David is passionate about supporting students and young professionals by helping them reach their career goals. He is regularly invited to speak at colleges, trade schools, and universities. David is a chair for the Office Administrative Studies Program Advisory Board at Centennial College and sits on the Event Management Board for the Hospitality and Tourism program at George Brown College.
