I discovered a hole in the history of broadcasting and filled it in, with several patent applications filed. Play4Me will be a completely new form of online broadcasting using elemental musical signals to transfer the love emanating from the fingers of a musical artist directly into your existing personal device. We will also create custom hardware devices, including a handheld 3D LCD visualizer. Play4Me gives you an orchestra in the palm of your hand, under live control by your favorite electronic artists, composers and performers who play their electronic-capable instruments directly into the system.As CEO, I am actively cultivating the layman's case for this business, which joins the vast $9B streaming market for a conservative share, based on providing an utterly unique personal experience for music consumers. In addition, I am spearheading the prototyping effort in a stack populated with React, Go, Python and the most modern RAD tech I can find.

Leading the technological vision for this early-stage ed-tech venture, I assembled and participated with a team that released 4 mobile applications into the Google Play and Apple Stores. I helped define the company’s scalable business model, co-authored a patent (pending) and contributed the dominant portion of original code for the UX and backend frameworks, for which the company received two grants for the further development of this technology and the systems it supports.

INgrooves is an example of bootstrapping an idea into a phenomenon. Here, I was able to forge a business where none had existed before. As the first contributor, I built the mission-critical application that operated the business on a single laptop. That same code base scaled to replace all the digital delivery systems of the world's largest music company, Universal Music Group. The system produced multi-terabytes of digital audio in hundreds of diverse formats that were routed and distributed to hundreds of world-wide retailers according to the rules of entertainment law. The platform included a full accounting system to reconcile and disburse royalty payments to rights-holders. This same architecture and code base continues to survive and perform to the present day.

I was invited to join the technical staff by the founder, former Napster co-founder Jordan Ritter. I implemented a cross-platform HTTP tunneling library for SpamNet that allowed fault-tolerant connectivity in unknown corporate environments, rapidly developing HTTP parsers/generators and integrating them with SpamNet Linux and Windows servers and Windows Active X clients.

I became the 9the employee of this well-known and highly controversial startup and managed the now infamous Napster team. I built Nexter, which created an asynchronous information bus for the next-generation Napster platform, and an automatic identification, indexing and supply chain management prototype for managing digital content and compliance. These concepts paved the way for a new generation of businesses known as digital media aggregators, like INgrooves.

I recruited and managed a highly-motivated professional team to implement solutions for the Project Management industry. I architected several scalable project tracking and forecasting products and components, as well as a proprietary web site templating system for client/server applications. I envisioned and applied breakthrough management techniques, now encompassed by Agile, which facilitated high productivity and team morale while maintaining consistent on-time delivery, low defect rates and high adaptability.
