Provides vision, direction, and coordination of all technology, systems, and personnel in the school district while utilizing innovative technology which enhances instruction and accelerates student learning and achievement. Works cooperatively with administration, the innovative instructional team, the technology support staff and school innovation teams to align school efforts with the district strategic plan. Thinks in a visionary, global manner and collaborates with varied stakeholders to develop and implement systems for increasing human capacity which emphasizes growth and innovator’s mindsets.

Provides leadership in the identification, assessment, and management of technology needs for the school district. Directs and coordinates all tasks and elements needed to effect comprehensive integration of appropriate technology into every facet of educational operations and functions. Contributes to the infusion of educational technology into schools, classrooms and offices by providing professional leadership in all areas of technology planning and technology resource management.

Facilitates and leads instruction of a project-based enrichment program promoting creativity, teamwork and ingenuity through the application of technology. Involved with the instruction of computer programming, video game design, LEGO robotics, and stop motion animation in a fun and engaging environment.

Facilitates in the creation, integration and development of instructional-based technology in the classroom to increase student achievement and enrich the learning process. Interfaces and provides instruction with teachers and administration to infuse technology into the academic curriculum. Maintains instruction and training of technology tools, resources and web-based instruction. Provides input and recommendations regarding both building and district technology plans, as well as providing insight regarding instructional methods serving to increase and supplement teachers’ use of technology as it positively impacts student performance in the classroom.

Developed and implemented a course of study aligned with the district curriculum that is designed to foster creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and communication amongst students. Differentiated instruction takes place in a student-centered, inquiry-based classroom, where effective technology integration drives learning both in class and through online learning environments.
